JOB ANNOUNCEMENT JUNIOR ADMINISTRATIVE POSITION GARFIELD COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS Garfield County Public Works is seeking to fill a vacancy within the Public Works Department. This position’s responsibilities include working independently under the general direction of the Senior Admin, is responsible for the efficient clerical operations and assisting with the accounting functions of the Public Works Department. Work includes assisting with accounts receivable and payable, travel and training coordination, customer service and general clerical duties. Applicants who are proficient with computers, Microsoft Word, Excel, and data entry are preferred. The successful applicant will be hired commensurate with their experience, from Admin 1 to Admin 4; we anticipate hiring at the Admin 3 level. Current Wage Rate for Admin. 3 is $45,302.29 annually, with a very competitive benefit package.
