Pomeroy's Trent Gwinn (13) rushed for 349 yards on 21 carries and three touchdowns, plus caught a 46-yard Sidney Bales touchdown pass in Pomeroy's 72-42 loss to Naselle in 1B 8-Man playoffs. Unless the Comets contained Gwinn initially, he would break tackles in his hunger for the end zone.
