Pomeroy Middle School Girls Basketball lost to Tekoa-Rosalia on October 10 by 35-26. The B Squad won 31-13.

The team’s next game will be at 4:30 p.m., October 10 in Touchet, and October 14, in Pomeroy, versus Oakesdale at 4:30 p.m.

“The girls worked really hard tonight,” said Co-Coaches Jennifer Maves and Jessica Wolf . “We are proud of their team work and intensity. Tonight’s was an exciting game.”

Cassidy Bales led scoring with 8, Izzy Field 6, Taylor Gilbert and Ashley Pemberton 4, Kristen Bartels and Elisabeth Carroll, 2.

“Each girl worked hard,” the coaches said of the B Squad. “Proud of the girls and their win. They are making improvements each game.”

Ellie Potoshnik scored 12, Hallie Brewr 6, Allyson Shaffer 4, and Lilly Quarles and Elena Morfin, 2.
