TROY-DEARY–Robert Des Jardin, Fred Zack and Larry Bunch attended the two-day shoot at the Gun Club there October 5-6. While Pomeroy members did not bring home any trophies, they shot fair scores.

On Saturday, Des Jardin posted a 96, Bunch a 95 and Zack 94 in singles. Des Jardin also had the best score in Handicap of the three with an 86. Bunch posted a 90 in Doubles.

Sunday, Bunch and Des Jardin both had 95s in singles while Zack had a 94. Zack led the Trio with a respectable 91 in Handicap and Bunch had an 87 in Doubles.

Pomeroy Gun Club will host a Western Zone Big 50 event at the local Club on Saturday, Oct. 19. Sign up at Noon and shooting beginning at 1 p.m. The program is 50 singles, 50 HC and 25 pair of Doubles. There has to be at least three shooters in each event in order to register them with the Amateur Trapshooting Association.
