POMEROY–Homecoming is almost here! Everyone has expectations of how the week activities and dance are going to be, especially the freshman since it’s their first high school dance.

In the movies, it’s this big glamorous thing that everyone fawns overt but, I have a feeling it’s not going to be what that way. I think it’s not even the dance that is the best part, but what comes before and after it.

In my group, which is only girls, we are not doing anything formal. Our plan is to order Panda Express, bring it home. Then after all the girly stuff, like hair and makeup, we will binge-watch Grey’s Anatomy until the dance.

Personally, I am most excited about getting ready, talking with my friends, and the sleepover that comes after.

This homecoming week, student will participate in showing school spirit and team support! There are tons of dress-up days and lunchtime games.
