A Teen's Take

Getting Along

POMEROY–Little siblings are good and bad. One minute they can be your best friend and the next, your worst nightmare. It’s the epitome of a love-hate relationship. When I was about ten and my brother was eight, my mom got us tablets and our favorite thing to do was make houses on Minecraft. In the houses, we could design our own bedrooms to match our own personality, wants and needs.

When we were younger, we didn’t always see eye-to-eye, in fact we had disagreements which lead to bickering and sometimes an all-out sibling war. Now that we’re older, we do different things together. When my brother and I are with the family, we just sit there and talk. Now, it’s my brother who I confide in, even though he’s a snitch. I can’t imagine my life without him even though he’s a major pain. I imagine those of you who have siblings can relate to my quandary.

I hope everyone enjoys their Thanksgiving and adjusting to the cold weather!
