Donations were made to the Shriners and St. Joseph Diabetes Center from the proceeds of the LCCU, Obenland and Low, Pomeroy Grain Growers and Deadman Creek Outfitters sponsored "Beat Diabetes" Basketball Tournament held in Pomeroy, November 23. Pictured are Pomeroy High School Seniors Maddy Dixon and Sidney Watko, who assisted, Senior Alyssa Wolf, who headed-up the tournament, and recipients Susan Rauch with St. Joseph Diabetes Center, and Bob Cox, President of the Pomeroy Shrine Club.
POMEROY–Pomeroy High School Senior Alyssa Wolf, presented two checks for $1949.25 each to representatives of St. Joseph Diabetes Center and the Shriners at the morning high school assembly on December 12. The funds were raised at the annual "Beat Diabetes Basketball Tournament" held at the Pomeroy School District gyms on November 23.
