POMEROY–Progress on the new fire station is closing in fast. It was only just a few short months ago when the fire station was framed. By the end of January, that framed building will conclude into a newly equipped and housed fire station.

POMEROY–A representative from the fire station contractors Aaron Borgerding of Wellens Farwell updated fire commissioners on the construction progress during the January 14 meeting. He stated that what remains to complete the new fire house project is insulation installation, drywall construction, some plumbing work and interior painting. He said he would check to see what electrical work still needs to be completed, but expects everything to be finished by the end of January.
