Wind causes imbalance

e word to describe this weekend Camas Prairie Shoot for the Pomeroy Gun Club. The wind pushed shooters off balance as they tried to hold still during each shot. But that didn’t seem to fazed Steve Brown as he went straight 25/25 from the 16-yard line and 24/25 from the 20-yard line. Tracy Hanger led the pack in Continentals shooting an impressive 23.

The high scores from each division are: Adult 16yd-25s: Steve Brown; 24s–Clark Capwell, Lee Koller, Mark Lawrence; 23s–Buck Geiger, Mitch Ruchert, Jeff Wade; Adult Handicap High Scores-24s–Steve Brown, Mike Hastings, Doubles–Jeff Hannas 42, Travis Ledgerwood 42; Continentals–Tracy Hanger 23, Clark Capwell 22; Women’s 16yd High Scores–Pearl Blachly 22, Tracy Hanger 21, Holly Ledgerwood 21; Women’s Handicap High Scores–Tracy Hanger 19, Holly Ledgerwood 19; Junior High Scores (age 16-18)–Mason Blachly 24, Tyson Kimble 22, Carson Zimmerman 22; Sub Junior’s High Scores (age 13-15)–Ollie Severs 23, Jr. Magill 21; 12 and Under–Gunner Magill 16, Braxton McKeirnan 14, Peyton Cannon 14.

Only four weeks remain in the Camas Prairie shoot.
