Hospital levy ballots mailed

The Garfield County Hospital District is seeking voter approval of a Special Levy, ballots for which were mailed Friday, April 10 and are due to be returned by April 28.

POMEROY–The Garfield County Hospital Levy ballots were mailed Friday, April 10 and election day is on April 28, 2020 which closes at 8 p.m. Ballots come with pre-paid postage which can then be mailed or ballots can be deposited in the drop box by the court house.

Garfield County registered voters have or will receive a ballot in the mail box this week. When you are ready to mark your ballot, remember to use black or dark blue ink, complete all required information fields, place your signature on the signature line, seal and mail or deposit your vote. Mailed ballots must be postmarked by election day, April 28, 2020 or placed in the drop box on the east of the Garfield County Court House on Eighth Street no later than 8 p.m.

The County Canvassing Board will certify the April Special Election results May 8, 2020.
