I would like to represent Garfield County as your District 2 County Commissioner. I grew up in Garfield County and chose to raise my family here. Having traveled throughout most of the United States and several countries abroad, I recognize and appreciate the small-town values and quality of life we enjoy. Truly, Garfield County/Pomeroy is a wonderful place to live, raise a family, and call "home".

Being raised on a multi-generation farm/ranch, the value of work ethic was impressed upon me. "If it is worth doing, it is worth doing right", "Treat others the way you would like to be treated", and "Everything happens for the best" are great philosophies that I follow. Many of the successes I have experienced as a business owner, group leader, family, friend, and volunteer in our community can be attributed to them.

As an owner and manager of LifeTrack Services, I have business experience to offer during financial decisions. My wife of 23 years, Sherrie, works for Lewis Clark Credit Union locally, and my kids live locally as well supporting my decision run.

Being active in our community is important. Serving as commissioner is another way for me to contribute to the future of Garfield County. Spinners membership has quadrupled during my tenure. With our growth we have taken on more events and continue to make improvements to Maple Hall and our county. As treasurer for the Garfield County Market Sale Association and the Spokane Junior Livestock Show Boosters, we reward our exhibitors for their efforts. I continue to be involved even though I no longer have kids participating, because "It's for the kids". I am passionate about kids and want to help mold them into community minded citizens.

As the communications director for Garfield County Search and Rescue, when needed, notifications are sent to rescue group members for ATV, Boat, Foot, 4x4, Horse, or Snowmobile groups along with instructions, a meeting point, and time. While each of these responsibilities take away from my personal and family time, it is part of "thriving" in rural America. The appreciation from those involved is rewarding. As commissioner, I will be present and proactive representing Garfield County at local and regional board meetings with the focus of doing what is best for Garfield County and its people.

With your vote for Larry Ledgerwood, you will receive honesty and dedication for Garfield County. By understanding the dynamics of Garfield County, decisions can be made with an open mind. Change is good! New ideas and a fresh outlook are in the best interest of Garfield County. I have overcome adversity and would like to help Garfield County with the challenges we face!

My family and friends have embraced my decision and fully support it. I am entering this commitment with my "eyes wide open", and know that I will need to dedicate my time to stay ahead of the "learning curve". I will represent Garfield County well, listening to our community, and basing decisions on what's best for Garfield County. I would appreciate your vote and confidence to be Garfield County's District 2 Commissioner!
