Columbia Pulp to re-start

Columbia Pulp plans to re-commission the straw-to-pulp plant west of Starbuck as well as implement process improvements over the next 8-12 weeks. When fully operational, the facilitywill employ over 90 full-time maintenance and production employees.

STARBUCK–Columbia Pulp LLC will fully re-start the Lyons Ferry Pulp Plant in Columbia County sometime in early May, 2021. It was due to COVID–19 concerns in April, 2020, that the plant shutdown, leaving only essential personnel to continued support of the facility.
