ST. JOHN–Pomeroy Cross Country boys team finished fourth here February 27, but not before four Pirate runners notched personal bests. At the first meet Feb. 24 in Pomeroy, the boys team finished third.
The Pirates ran at Rosalia last Tuesday, and hit the trail at noon Saturday, March 6, at St. John. The championship meet will be in Pomeroy at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 10.
