POMEROY––So far, there are six home and three road games on the schedule for Pirate basketball, according to A.D. Toddette McGreevy, and Stage 3 protocols will be in effect for home games.

Changes are to be expected and fans are asked to check the Pomeroy School District Website: http://www.psd.wednet.edu under the CALENDARS tab, click on ATHLETICS for the latest information. People who are able may also check Pomeroy High's Facebook page for the latest updates, McGreevy said. One of the variables, McGreevy noted, was availability of officials.

Pomeroy High School Gymnasium may have an occupancy of 400 based upon current Phase 3 protocols.

COVID protocols include:

-Masks for ALL will be required; hand sanitation will be available; temperatures may be taken; all guests must sign-in; PLEASE ALLOW EXTRA TIME TO BE ADMITTED INTO THE GYM! Games will not be delayed to accommodate late fans!

-Fans will be asked to sit in family groups; and as much as possible, respecting distancing guidelines.

-Visiting players are allowed 2 guests to sign-in for each player: players may "gift" passes to others, but once a player has 2 people sign-in as his/her guest, others will be turned away.

-Home players will be allowed 4 guests to sign-in for each player: again, players may "gift" passes to others, but once a player has 4 people sign-in as his/her guest, others will be turned away.

-There will be 80 student passes (High School passes – 60; Junior High passes – 20).

-There will be 140 passes for the PSD Staff & Community.

-The home book will be at the scorer's table; visiting book confirm with home book.
