Judith Rae Crawford

Judith Rae Crawford, 73, of Pomeroy, Wash., passed away comfortably at home on February 24, 2021, after a long battle with diabetes and stage 4 kidney failure.

Judi is the adopted daughter of Mary and Ray Nelson of Pomeroy, Wash. She graduated from Leavenworth High school in 1967. She went on to be a nurse.

Judi worked as a CNA at the Garfield County Hospital where she was introduced to William Crawford, through mutual friends Geof and Mary Morgan. They were married September 3, 1983.

They moved to Cheyenne, Wyo., and later to Everett, Wash., for 14 years, where she held parttime jobs and volunteered for the church in multiple projects and at crisis pregnancy center. They moved back to Pomeroy where Judi worked as an in–home–care aid for many years until retiring.

She had an amazing heart and loved to help everyone. If Judi knew someone in need, she would selflessly give any help she could. She deeply loved her children, grandchildren, and friends. She loved animals, laughing and had a wicked-good sense of humor.

Judi is survived by her spouse Bill Crawford, Pomeroy; son Thomas (Kim) Nelson, Coon Rapids, Minn .; daughter Shawna Robinson, Pomeroy; grandchildren Lynn Nelson, Coon Rapids, Minn., Andrew and Savannah Robinson, and Hannah Fleming, Pomeroy.

A memorial will be held for all friends and family who would like to attend, at the Nazarene Church on June 26, 2021 at 1 p.m. A dessert will follow.
