POMEROY–The Class of 1946 celebrated their 75-year reunion at the Tomato Brothers restaurant in Clarkston, Wash., June 24, 2021.

The seven of the twelve remaining members of the Pomeroy High School Class of 1946 enjoyed lots of laughter, memories and stories of good times together when they gathered at the Tomato Brothers Restaurant last Saturday.

There are twelve persons still living out of the class of thirty-five students (two others also received their diplomas that year but did not attend the high school). Attending the reunion were Doris Bond Landkammer, Betty Purcell Waldher, Lee Flerchinger, Robert Koller, Kenneth Price, Harold Waldher and Jack Waldher. Some of the classmates-all in their nineties-drove to the event themselves while Doris Ann Landkammer Todd, Julie Price Claassen, and Mary Waldher Horn, along with her husband Ron, brought their parents.

A tri-fold board of pictures of the class was set up at the reunion and Jack Waldher provided a program from the 1946 graduation ceremony. These will be set up at the Garfield County Museum for the public to view and enjoy.
