Annual Sausage Shoot is back

November 25, 2021

POMEROY–The Annual Sausage Shoot is back on Sunday, December 12, after a one-year hiatus during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Trap shooting events and winter league are rapidly approaching, and with the return of the Annual Sausage Shoot, a major fundraising event for the Pomeroy Gun Club, we will be needing all the help we can muster to have a successful shoot.

The plan is to make sausage at the Travis Ledgerwood shop on the December 10 and wrap the meat on Saturday, December 11 at the Club. (See advertising in this issue for the December 5–January 9, 2022, schedule at the Pomeroy Gun Club.)

The 10-week shoot will start on Saturday, January 8 for kids starting at 8 a.m. and for Adults on Sunday, December 9 starting at 9 a.m.

The Club has quite a bit of ammunition for the kids and a fair supply for adults that have been having trouble finding it. The 10-week shoot will culminate with the Camas Prairie Shoot at the Walla Walla Gun Club in March.

To all Club members, in advance, your help to make the upcoming event successful, is much appreciated.
