City approves variance, agreement and more

POMEROY–The Pomeroy City Council granted a variance, authorized inter-local agreement, and $56,370 for pump project.
The council authorized use of $56,370 of American Rescue Plan funds for a booster pump station project.
Josh Mayfield’s variance request for more lot coverage on his Columbia Street property was granted. The coverage will increase from 40% to 60%.
In addition, the council voted to authorize an inter-local agreement with Dayton for street cleaning services.
The council decided to add a second monthly meeting to their schedule, to provide more time to address business, according to the November 9 meeting minutes. The additional gathering is scheduled to occur 13 days after their regularly scheduled meeting, which convenes the first Tuesday after the third of the month.
