Health District runs out of 'Yes to Test' tests

POMEROY–The Garfield County Health District Administrator Martha Lanman announced that the Covid-19 testing program "Yes to Test" has been used so much that the Health District has ran out of tests within 20 days of the program beginning.

The County Health district board passed several resolutions at its meeting on December 27. Approved were Resolution 2021-33: a consolidated contract with the Washington State Department of Health for 2022. The contract details the terms and conditions, and funding is expected to be received every other month; Resolution 2021-34: the 2022 sale contract with the Southeast Washington Aging and Long-Term Care Council of Government for exercise programs that the Health District facilitates at the Senior Center. The maximum funding considered for the contract is $4,000; Resolution 2021-35: which establishes a 2022 contract for contact tracers with Carrie Kimble, Lorri Flynn, Sandy Bates, Patti Weaver, and Patty Blachly; and Resolution 2021-36: a 2021 budget amendment that adjusts the payroll.
