Pomeroy's Lady Pirates are state-bound and have one regional game to play in Mt. Vernon, Wash., this coming Saturday, against Mt. Vernon Christian. After that, the games move to the Spokane Arena with game dates and times dependent on the outcome of Saturday's game against Mt. Vernon Christian. The Lady Pirates, coached by Tai Bye, survived their fifth overtime game of the season, 49-44 over DeSales, and edged Oakesdale 37-36 to advance to regionals and state.
