County has zero active Covid-19 cases

March 3, 2022

POMEROY–The Garfield County Health District announced that the county has zero active cases of Covid-19 at the time of their meeting on February 28. The number of people who have been going to the Garfield County Memorial Hospital to be tested has also decreased dramatically. Health District Administrator Martha Lanman stated that she believed the home tests recently distributed in the community have played a role in bringing the testing numbers down.

The Health District passed Resolutions 2022-03 and 2022-04, both school nursing contracts. 2022-03 is the school nursing contract with Pomeroy School District for the school year of 2021-2022, for the amount not to exceed $15,600. The contract is dated to allow billing for services going back to August of 2021. Resolution 2022-04 is the school nursing contract with Starbuck for 2022. The amount is not to exceed $7,000.
