Consolidated Contract amendments passed

POMEROY–The Garfield County Health District approved amendments to the Department of Health consolidated contract at their meeting on March 21. The contract is valid from 2022 until 2024, and funding comes through the form of amendments. Resolution 2022-05 amends the contract by placing the maximum amount at $1,352,897. Resolution 2022-06 amends the contract again by raising the maximum amount by $305,943. The maximum funding for the consolidated contract currently stands at $1,658,540

The Health District board also approved resolution 2022-07, a renewal of the Lifeskills contract with Quality Behavioral Health. The contract is for a class taught to fifth and sixth graders. The instructor’s time is compensated at $20.34 per hour. Jessica Nelson taught this class in 2021 and is expected to teach it again.


The Health District staff received recognition from the Washington State Secretary of Health as part of a statewide recognition of the effort of community health districts.
