Pataha Creek RV Park rule clarified

March 24, 2022

POMEROY–The Port of Garfield County commissioners passed a resolution to clarify an RV Park rule at their meeting on March 15. Resolution 2022- No. 3 states that a camper who is not living at the Pataha Creek RV Park may camp for four weeks every 120 days. The commissioners also created a role of camp host for the RV Park, to help residents and be a present at the park in return for a park space. The host would facilitate help with hookups for new residents, and alert the manager of developing issues.

Supplies for the Pahata fiber internet project have begun to arrive. The project is still in the designing process.

The southwest corner wall of the Scott warehouse has separated from the frame of the building. Chris Professional Electric has been hired to secure it so the wind does not tear it off. The project is estimated to cost $575.

The blinds for the United States Forest Service building that were backordered have been delivered, so the plan to use shades instead is not necessary.
