Halbert and Davis new assistant track coaches

POMEROY–The Pomeroy School District board of directors (PSD) hired Nikki Halbert and Jonathan Davis at their meeting on March 22. Halbert and Davis will be assistant track coaches for the 2022 season.
The PSD directors approved calendar negotiations from the Garfield County Education Association, and have set the 2022-23 school year calendar. It will have the required 180 school days and 1027 instructional hours.
An aviation curriculum for 8 and 11 grades is being considered for next year. The Historic Flight Foundation has offered to provide the curriculum.
