Five Pirate golfers advance

Pirate golfer Elena Morfin makes a swing during play at the Pomeroy Invitational last week. Morfin finished in 111 strokes to lead Pirate girls in that match, and last Monday, she, Chase Caruso, Kiersten Bartels, Brady Bott and Jett Slusser each qualified for the District match in Clarkston May 16.

WALLA WALLA–The Pomeroy Golf Team is sending five golfers to District in Clarkston on May 16.

Chase Caruso continued to chase the district championship, winning the field of 17 girls at Walla Walla's Veterans Memorial Course last Monday with an 84 at Sub-District.
