POMEROY-The Garfield County Fire District commissioners discussed funding at their meeting on July 12, according to minutes.

The Fire District has received a Ground Emergency Medical Transportation payment of $57,741.73 and a Department of Health Trauma grant for $1,125. They will also receive $50,000 through the Greater Columbia Accountable Community of Health, which will be used for infrastructure. A further $25,000 will be awarded if criteria are met.
