POMEROY–The Denny Ashby Library held the Summer Reading Adult/Teen Bingo Challenge and a children's contest called Oceans of Possibilities contests over the summer. Each reader was to meet a reading goal for a prize.

Youngsters of the Oceans of Possibilities Summer Reading Program met their summer reading goals and received coupons for ice cream at Meyers Hardware and chose new books for the library's collection. The Friends of the Library sponsored prizes for this contest.
