Pomeroy will ring in the Christmas holiday season with its annual Starlight Parade this Saturday, November 26, and kids of all ages will, no doubt, eagerly anticipate the arrival of The Man himself, Kris Kringle, AKA Santa Claus, shown here in this file photo from the 2021 Starlight Parade. We'll be downtown, lining the Main Street in hopes of catching some candy. See you there!

POMEROY–The annual Starlight Christmas Parade is scheduled to go down Main Street on Saturday, November 26 at 5 p.m.

This annual Pomeroy Chamber of Commerce event will have floats from local businesses, organizations and groups. The route is starting on Main and 10th to 6th streets, north on 7th and loop around the hospital. It will proceed south on 6th to Arlington, east on Arlington to 18th, then north on 18th to Columbia, west on Columbia to 10th St. It will continue south on 10th to High, then west on High St. to 1st St., north on 1st to Pataha, east on Pataha to 15th to Columbia and back to the school.

Staging begins at the High School parking lot at 4 p.m.

People interested in entering a float may drop your completed form at the Inland Cellular office, 141 W. High Drive or at the Quality Behavioral Health, 856 Main St.
