POMEROY––Powerful right-side hitter Kendall Dixon was one of four Lady Pirates named to the SE 1B District Volleyball All-Opponent "Wheat Division" First Team honors recently, and teammates Haliee Brewer, Chase Caruso and Taylor Gilbert were Second-Team selections.

Dixon joined Player of the Year Gianna Anderson of the state-champion Oakesdale Lady Nighthawks, and two other Oakesdale players, Payton Davis and Jessie Reed, plus Kaitlyn Hough and Addisen Becker of SJEL on the First Team list.

On the Second Team were Lady Pirate outside hitters Haliee Brewer and Taylor Gilbert, and libero Chase Caruso.

Dixon and Caruso are both seniors, Brewer is a junior and Gilbert is a sophomore.

Other Second Team selections were Oakesdale's Samantha Holling, Marilla Hockett and Brieyn Henley, and Cami Larsen of SJEL.
