POMEROY–The Garfield County Transportation Authority passed their 2023 budget, an update to their procurement policy and purchasing procedures, and discussed their building project at their meeting on November 28.

The 2023 budget includes a 6.5% cost-of-living increase to employee wages, as well as a raise of 6.55%, or reaching the 95% mark on the salary study conducted by Garfield County.

The CTA passed an update to their procurement policy and purchasing procedure, including an adjustment to the credit card policy.

The office and bus bay building planned by the CTA is currently being designed by RPW Structural Engineering. Soil tests have been conducted, but the results of those tests are still pending.
