POMEROY–The 2023 Camas Prairie 10-week shoot will begin on January 7 for juniors and January 8 for adults.

Traditionally the Camas Prairie 10–week shoot starts on the second Sunday of January each year, but because New Year's Day is Sunday January 1, the 2023 shoot will start with the junior shooters on Saturday, January 7, and the adults on Sunday January 8.

There will be a safety and due collection meeting for the kids at 8 a.m. on Saturday, January 7, followed by shooting. Kids under 14 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.

Donations from the Shepherd foundation and Federal CCI/Speer in Lewiston has made it possible to have ample shells and targets for the Junior program again this year. Questions on the junior program and dues, please contact Kenny Bott or Tracy Hanger.

Adults will shoot on Sunday starting a 9 a.m. There is a good supply of shells and re-loading components available at the club. Shooting format will be the same as the past couple of years. Dues are to be paid at this time.
