Ollie Severs, Pomeroy's 6-2 junior forward, goes up through the Dayton-Waitsburg defense in his effort for the Pirates in their 55-44 loss last week. Severs led the Pirates with 19 points, had seven rebounds and an assist.

POMEROY––Rebounding and sticky defense were lacking in the Pomeroy Pirates' 55-44 loss to Dayton-Waitsburg here December 29 as the visiting Wolfpack took advantage in the final minutes and scored in the end game while shutting the Pirates out.
