In a somewhat rare occurrence, former Pomeroy Lady Pirate basketball teammates were on opposing teams in a Spokane Community College versus Walla Walla Community College women's basketball game January 11 in the Dietrich Dome. Emma Severs, left, plays for the Lady Sasquatch and was defended by Lady Warrior forward Keely Maves. For Pomeroy fans, it wasn't much of a stretch to tell the two players while on the court–both were wearing their familiar numbers–32 for Severs and Maves in her same old number 24. The Lady Warriors, by the way, won 58-45.
