POMEROY-The Port of Garfield County Commissioners agreed to pay the Garfield County Road Department for weed spraying and discussed the demolition of Warehouse 3 at their meeting on April 18.

The Port will pay $1,480.20 to the County Road Department for spraying edges of the roads on Port property, mowing them, and applying a sterilant. The project is expected to take about 12 hours of work, and the price includes the cost of chemicals.

Demolition of Warehouse 3 has been completed. Chris' Professional Electric, who had charge of the demolition, is salvaging some of the materials.
