DAYTON–Lady Wolfpack Fastpitch finished the last two double headers winning three of four and finishing in second place in the EWAC 2B Fastpitch standings with a 4-4 record, 6-9 overall.

The Wolfpack split a road twin bill with Columbia-Burbank, losing 4-3 then winning 11-8 on May 12. DW had a 3-1 lead in the third but the Coyotes scored one in the fourth and two in the fifth, then held DW at bay for the win. In the nightcap, DW pounced on them 3-2 in the first inning, added another three runs in the third inning for a 6-4 lead and battled through the later innings for five more runs for the 11-8 victory.
In their May 10 homestand against TriCities Prep, the Wolfpack let a nice lead evaporate with an 11-run fifth inning to trail the Lady Jaguars 15-9. But DW rallied with eight runs in the bottom of the fifth to retake the lead 17-15.
The Wolfpack counted one more run in the sixth, then held TCP to two runs in the top of the seventh for the 18-17 win.
The bats rang in the second game, a 17-7 five-inning slugfest for DW. DW racked up 17 hits to TCP's three.
