The Pirates are duking it out in the consolation bracket, striving for a State Tournament berth following a crushing loss to DeSales and a thrilling double overtime win over Liberty Christian. In that game, Jett Slusser sparked the Pirates with seven three pointers-this one which cut the Patriot's lead from nine to six midway through the fourth quarter. Slusser finished with a game-high 29 points, eight during the fourth-quarter rally.
