A Teen's Take

POMEROY–The whole week of Homecoming was absolutely amazing and awesome. Dress-up days were so much fun and being able to be completely silly with all of my friends all week was great.

Homecoming morning, I woke up with hives, then one friend was unable to come in on time. I’ve realized that not everything goes to plan even when you do everything right. In the end it all worked out fine because we didn’t stress.

To start with, we didn’t do anything formal. My friends and I curled each other’s hair, got ready, ate Panda Express, then laughing and giggling, laid on my bedroom floor to watch Grease. We later went to the dance and had a blast!

If I could go back and do it all again, I wouldn’t change a thing. Last Saturday, we had fun dressing up, having dinner together, and watching a movie. I can’t imagine my life without my friends, they are so amazing.

Homecoming as a whole was a great experience. I was so lucky to make memories with the people I care most about. That is what Homecoming is all about. Being able to dress up with friends, go have fun at a dance, but most of all, being with great friends.

I hope everyone had a great week and is preparing for the colder weather.
