Pesticide re-certification credits

CLARKSTON–WSU Asotin and Garfield County Extension Offices and the University of Idaho (UI) Nez Perce County Extension Office are sponsoring An Integrated Pest Management Program for individuals needing Washington, Idaho and Oregon Pesticide Re-Certification credits. It will be held at the Walla Walla Community College Clarkston Campus, on Friday, December 6 at 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m.

UI Nez Perce County Extension Educator Doug Finkelnburg, will focus on Problem Weeds of the Lewis-Clark Valley. Then Steve Van Vleet, WSU Whitman County Extension Educator will discuss Rangeland Noxious Weed Management. Followed by a presentation on Avoiding Common Pesticide Violations with Tim Stein of the Washington State Department of Agriculture.

The program is free, but an RSVP is recommended. Individuals planning to attend are asked to pre-register with the WSU Garfield County Extension Office at (509) 843-3701, [email protected].
