POMEROY–Three Pomeroy Pirates were listed in the District 9 South Division All-Division Football honors.

Junior running back and defensive back Brandon Bales, and sophomore wingback and linebacker Trent Gwinn were among a host of players from the Southeast 1B 8-man Football League who received honors for their play this season.

Bales, Pomeroy’s 5-11, 150-lb. quarterback, running back and defensive back, was among three named to the Offense First Team, along with Chris Wolf of Colton and Ryan Rizzuti of DeSales. Bales was also recognized on the Defense First Team as a d-back.

Gwinn, the 5-11, 145-lb. sophomore, was named to the Offense First Team as a wide receiver, and to the Defense First Team as a linebacker.

Six-foot, 170-lb. sophomore Braedyn White was named to the Defense Second Team for his accomplishments on the defensive line.
