POMEROY–The Denny Ashby Library Board has an opening for a Garfield County resident who is interested in actively promoting the library in the community. The board meets on the last Monday of each month in the library at 5:15 p.m.

Interested persons are asked to submit a letter of application detailing reasons you would like to serve on the board and your vision to maintain and improve library services to Garfield County residents.

The Library Board will review the applications and make recommendations to the Garfield County Commissioners for appointment.

Letters may be hand-delivered to the library during regular hours or mailed to Denny Ashby Library, PO Box 670, Pomeroy, WA 99347. The letter of application is due December 30, 2019 at 5 p.m.
