The two seniors worked with the local food bank, grocery store and community members to collect and disperse over 2,400 pounds of food.

Our project was to organize and execute a food drive. We accomplished this by asking for permission from Susie Bowles, the head of the Garfield County Food Bank, to run a food drive. We then asked Mark Schmitt of Pomeroy Foods to donate some grocery bags so we could drop one off along with flyers we would create at each house. Graciously he did and we went on t...
