Gonzales receives CRNA Master's degree

Annalynne (Van Vogt) Gonzales, graduated from Westminster College, Salt Lake City, Ut., with a Masters in Nurse of Anesthesia (CRNA).

TOPEKA, Kan.–Pursuit of Excellence award recipient Annalynne (Van Vogt) Gonzales, graduated from Westminster College, in Salt Lake City, Utah, with a Masters in Nurse of Anesthesia (CRNA) on November 23,2020.

Gonzales, graduated from Westminster College, in Salt Lake City, Utah, with a Masters in Nurse of Anesthesia (CRNA) and was honored with the Pursuit of Excellence award, a staff-nominated honor, at graduation. She successfully passed her board certification in December and has recently started working at her job at University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus in Topeka, Kan.

Gonzales is the middle daughter of Jon and Louise Van Vogt, who was homeschooled by her mom and took several supplemental classes at Pomeroy High School. She graduated high school in 2008, then went on to obtain a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from Wichita State University in 2014. Gonzales worked as an intensive care nurse for three and a half years and prior to starting graduate school in 2018, she was working as a nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at Kootenai Health in Coeur d'Alene.

Husband Jesse Gonzales is employed as an elementary Special Education teacher in a neighboring city.
