Melody Darby welcomes a new adventure as Pomeroy Partners Youth & Family Coordinator with Quality Behavioral Health on March 1, 2021.

POMEROY–New Quality Behavioral Health and the Pomeroy Partners coalition Youth & Family Coordinator Melody Darby takes the wheel on March 1, 2021.

Over the 18 years in law enforcement, 911, and public education, Darby steps into the Pomeroy Partners Youth & Family Coordinator position. She began her involvement with the community as a Garfield County Sheriff's Office 911 dispatcher, and later the 911 Pubic Educator, teaching kids about how and when to call 911. She also participated in the planning and organizing National Night Out and the fair booth each year. As National Night Out grew, the Sheriff's Office partnered with other agencies allowing Darby to become involved with the Community Health and Prevention Advisory Board (CHAPAB), Pomeroy Advocates for Community Empowerment (PACE) and Pomeroy Partners for Healthy Families.
