Pole vaulters, relays and sprinters lead way for Pomeroy track

Pirate pole vaulter Colton Slaybaugh finished first in the pole vault at Pomeroy's first meet of the 2021 covid season, clearing 13-6. The mark also puts him in first place among 1B schools and, among all pole vaulters in Washington, in second behind a three-way tie for first at 14-0.
POMEROY––Pirate junior pole vaulter Colton Slaybaugh vaulted into first place with a 13-6 effort at the first meet of the covid track and field season held here March 31. Slaybaugh's mark put him first in state rankings among 1B schools and in second place behind a three-way tie of vaulters from west-side 4A schools.
