POMEROY–The Senior Center will once again will have senior foot care provided by Elizabeth Stringer, R.N., available by appointment starting October 23, 2021.

Aging and disability received a grant from Blue Mountain Community Foundation to provide foot care training, equipment and other necessities to start the Foot Care program. Elizabeth Stringer, R.N., trained by Dr. Julia Overstreet DMP of Issaquah, Wash., will provide seniors with nail and callous maintenance excluding wound care, for a fee, depending on specific needs. This service is Saturday only, excluding holiday weekends, between 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
