POMEROY–Garfield County will hold a free chipper day for country residents at the old rock pit located off Gould City-Mayview Road on Saturday, November 6 at 8 a.m.–2 p.m.

Material that can be discarded at this location is clean yard and garden debris, pine needles, leaves, limbs and small logs (up to 15 inches).

Loads containing a lot of dirt, rocks, root balls or anything over 15 inches in diameter will be turned away.

All debris must be removed from plastic bags, if transported in such containment, before discarding and all plastic must be taken home with you.
