POMEROY–The November 2021 Student of the Month, sponsored by Pomeroy Partners, is Nadine Ross.
Nadine was nominated by Joanne Pederson and Lynette Cochran because she inspires positivity through her kind heart and compassion for others.
Nadine brings PRIDE to the Pomeroy High School through an attitude and behavior of selflessness especially as she works in the lunch line. She willingly gives of herself and of her time, to help out as a server each day. She accomplishes so much each day, which makes lunchtime better for all of us.
She is proficient when executing her task, following through specific instructions without oversight. She demonstrates INDEPENDENCE when she takes initiative to be useful in appropriate ways, going beyond what is asked.
Nadine shows RESPECT by being courteous to the kitchen crew, to each student who comes through the line, and to anyone else who ventures into the cafeteria. She listens carefully, follows directions, takes the rules seriously with grace, exhibits good manners and does not complain.
Nadine is cheerful, helpful, dependable and kind in the kitchen and while serving in the lunch line! Her ATTITUDE is exemplary. She is a joy to work with.
We can depend on Nadine to arrive each day in a timely manner. We can also depend on her to do her job as instructed. She is TRUSTWORTHY because we count on her!
Nadine puts in a good EFFORT each day by doing her job well, and without complaint! Her assistance makes our jobs easier.
To SHOW KINDNESS, Nadine has a warm smile for everyone. She is thoughtful, cares about what people are going through, is compassionate and kind toward all.
