Braedyn White is a triple threat out of Pomeroy High, competing in high school rodeo in steer wrestling, wrestling fellow athletes for the Pirate Wrestling Team, and mixing it up on the football field as a lineman the past four years. He is the son of Fred and Kelly White.

POMEROY–Braedyn White, a senior at Pomeroy High School, is competing in steer wrestling, according to Washington State High School Rodeo Association Senior Sunday, January 30, 2022 article.

In the short write up, it stated White's favorite memory from high school rodeo is making it to nationals and meeting such a great group of people.

He expressed his parents, Fred and Kelly White, have been his greatest life influencers by their steadfast and endless support over the years. In addition, Diehl Hiner, Horse Trainer at Hiner Performance Horses, has also made a big impact on White's horsemanship skill development, and in his steer-wrestling event.

White participated as a lineman for the Pomeroy Pirates Football team, and has taken third place in the District Wrestling tournament this last week. He will go on to Wrestling Regionals in Warden, Wash., February 12, 2022. If he finishes in the top five, he will qualify for the state tournament.

White's favorite quote is "Life is tough, but it's tougher if you are stupid." Braedyn plans to attend either Montana State University or College of Southern Idaho to get a degree in Ag Business and compete on the rodeo team. Good luck next year Braedyn.
