Pirates face Sunnyside Christian at District

POMEROY––Like their Pirate maties, the Pomeroy boys landed in third seed to District, opposite Sunnyside Christian, in a game set for 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, in Sunnyside, following a rough final weekend where Pomeroy (9-8, 6-3) suffered three losses, one in overtime.

Win or lose at SSC, in the second round Pomeroy will play either No. 4 Yakama Nation or No. 1 Oakesdale, a 69-61 overtime winner...
