POMEROY–Evening Star Lodge No. 30 representative Steve Kazda presents two Bikes for Books program February winners Brantley McKeirnan and Heather Davis with a bike each.

Students Brantley McKeirnan, a kindergartener and son of Shane and Stephanie McKeirnan, and Heather Davis a 5th grader and daughter of Jared Davis and Many Curtis achieved the 100 minutes of reading each week required to be entered the bike drawing.

Twice each year, students who read 100 minutes each week are entered in the drawing for a chance to win a one of four bikes donated by the Evening Star Lodge No. 30. The Bikes for Books program is supported by the Lodge to encourage youngsters to read early and often.
